INDIANAPOLIS – Living Room Theaters, an upscale, eight-screen cinema that shows the best indie, foreign and local films in intimate, living room-style theaters, has opened at Bottleworks District. Located at 745 E 9th St, the new theaters provide a new source of dining & entertainment for both the district and all of Mass Ave.
“We’re ecstatic to bring the magic of movies and film to Indy at Bottleworks District,” said Steve Herring, CEO of Living Room Theaters. “Living Room Theaters has reinvented the way films are experienced and distributed by creating a less conventional and more unique experience – from the film selections to the re-imagined lobby ambiance, to the concessions, seating, services and more.”
Living Room Theaters will be the first of its kind for Indianapolis, boasting a mix of exclusive new releases and the most talked about independent films that critics and audiences love, in a sophisticated, comfortable environment. Food and drinks, including cocktails, beer and wine, will be available at the cinema. Living Room Theaters also has locations in Portland, Oregon and Boca Raton, Florida.
“With Phase I of Bottleworks District now open at Bottleworks, locals and travelers will be able to take in all that the property offers,” said Jeff Whiteman, Chief Operating Officer for Geronimo Hospitality Group. “You can wake up in the morning in a beautiful boutique hotel, do some shopping and grab something to eat from The Garage Food Hall, and catch a film at Living Room Theaters.”
Living Room Theaters will feature first-run independent films and the latest hits from Hollywood when their doors open in December. Tickets will be between $9 and $13 for all moviegoers.
